In 1974, rock band Grand Funk remade it and hit number one again. A third top 20 version by Kylie Minogue hit number 2 in 1988. In the meantime Dave Stewart of Eurythmics teamed-up with Barbara Gaskin to remake it. Later, group Orange Range did a take-off of the song called Locolotion.
