This was his second top 20 song, and slightly more popular than the 1975 number 17 song I'm On Fire, then by Dwight Twilley Band. Phil Seymour was in the Dwight Twilley Band for I'm On Fire. Dwight Twilley followed-up Girls with Little Bit Of Love, with featured guest Tom Petty.
1984 song Why You Wanna Break My Heart received exposure when it was used in the 1992 movie Wayne's World.
