Marillion was a rock music group. The greatest hit by Marillion was number 8 rock tune Kayleigh. The song Pseudo Silk Comono was the opening song on the album and blended into Kayleigh, so often both songs were played combined. Kayleigh also received slight pop radio play.
The song Lavender was a remake of Lavender Blue from 1949 by both Burl Ives and Dinah Shore. In 1957, Sammy Turner took Lavender-Blue to number 2 on the top 20 chart.
