In 1982, Dolly Parton remade the song for movie The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas, and it became more popular than ever. In 1993, Whitney Houston sang the song for the movie The Bodyguard, and it became a number one song and the top song of the year. On the heels of this, the Dolly Parton version gained more airplay. Finally, in 1995, she remade the song as a duet with Vince Gill.
