Linkin Park was a six member alternative rap-rock group from Los Angeles, California. The greatest hit for Linkin Park was In The End, a 2002 number one song. In The End was also the 2001 top rock song of the year and second biggest of the decade. Linkin Park was the most popular rock group of the 2000s, with ten songs on the Big Rock Top 100 of the decade.
Mike Shinoda was a member of Linkin Park. X-Ecutioners was a Linkin Park side project. Songs by these two are included below.
The 2010 song Not Alone was a non-album song released in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake in Haiti.
In 2003, Linkin Park became the first group or artist to hold three of the top four songs on the year end countdown. Faint was number one, followed by Somewhere I Belong at 2, then Numb at 4.
