Bill Black's Combo was an instrumental group led by bassist Bill Black. Bill Black had worked with Elvis Presley for years. In 1962, Bill Black, who was ill, hired Bob Tucker from group The Tarrantulas to replace himself on bass. Bill Black lived 1929-1965. Bill Black's Combo continued long after
his death.
