Bill Black's Combo was an instrumental group led by bassist Bill Black. Bill Black had worked with Elvis Presley for years. In 1962, Bill Black hired Bob Tucker from group The Tarrantulas to replace himself on bass. Bill Black's Combo continued long after the death of Bill Black in 1965.
