Ashton, Gardner And Dyke was an album rock group with members singer and keyboardist Tony Ashton, bassist Kim Gardner, and drummer Roy Dyke. The group alternately used the very similar names Ashton, Gardner And Dyke; Ashton, Gardner & Dyke; Ashton, Gardner + Dyke; and Ashton, Gardner, Dyke & Co.. Kim Gardner was a member of The Byrds. Tony Ashton later was in Ashton And Lord. Lord was Jon Lord from Deep Purple. Jon Lord wrote many songs for Ashton, Gardner & Dyke, and was involved in producing. Ashton, Garner & Dyke performed the soundtrack for the movie The Last Rebel starring football legend Joe Namath. The greatest hit by Ashton, Gardner And Dyke was Resurrection Shuffle, which received minor pop music radio airplay.
